Il 28 aprile è stata ripresa questa immagine del pianeta Saturno, con un telescopio Maksutov Newton di 150 mm di diametro e con una focale di 2700 mm, usando una webcam Toucam Philips, 800 immagini su 1600 effettivamente riprese. On 28th of April the picture of Saturn has been taken, using a Maksutov Newton telescope with a 150 mm mirror diameter and 2700 mm focal lenght. A Toucam Philips webcam has been used.

Nova V1280 Scorpii

In alto a sinistra è visibile il pianeta Giove, poco sotto a destra Antares, alfa dello Scorpione e la barretta nera indica la posizione della Nova 2007 dello Scorpione.

La foto è stata scattata da Pratica di Mare, a sud di Roma, con 5 sec di esposizione, obbiettivo Pentax 50 mm f : 1.7, su reflex digitale Olympus E-330. Il colore arancione in basso a destra è dovuto alle luci di Torvaianica.

Top left you can see Jupiter and right, a bit below, Antares, alfa Scorpii; the black short line shows the position of the 2007 Nova in the Scorpion constellation.

The picture has been taken from Pratica di Mare, south of Rome, 5 sec esposition, 50 mm focal lenght Pentax objective f :1.7, with digital reflex Olympus E-330 camera. The orange colour bottom right is an effect due to Torvaianica lights.

Mac Naught Comet

Ecco la Cometa Mac Naught fotografata il 10 gennaio 2007 dai cieli di Roma. Nonostante i cirri e la posizione molto bassa sull'orizzonte, è visibile anche la coda.

Here is the Mac Naught comet as seen in the Rome sunset sky on 10th of January 2007. Although cirrus clouds and low position in the horizon, the tail is clearly visible.
